Access to your 401(k) information through third-party financial management applications is not available with Accrue.
We understand that you may have been able to access your data through these types of applications with your previous provider. However, this feature is not supported with Accrue's system.
What happens if I try to log in through an app?
If you attempt to connect one of these third-party apps using your Accrue credentials, the connection will be blocked. This is due to Accrue's security protocols, which include two-factor authentication (2FA). These apps cannot successfully pass the 2FA requirement, which protects your account information.
You may receive an email notification letting you know that a log-in attempt was made to your account.
If you know this was due to an attempt to connect a third-party app: You can disregard this email. Third-party apps may attempt access at a later time, so it’s possible you could receive multiple notifications related to a third-party connection attempt.
