Some providers require your rollover request paperwork to have a medallion signature guarantee. A medallion signature guarantee is a special stamp that's used when you transfer assets. It verifies your identity, your signature, and your legal authority to transfer the account funds. For this reason, it must be completed in person.
Accrue is unable to offer medallion signature guarantees. You may be able to obtain one from a local bank, savings and loan association, brokerage firm, or credit union where you're already a customer.
