401(k) plan fees at a glance
Fees paid by the employer, as applicable (plan sponsor)
These are the fees the employer (plan sponsor) pays for ongoing recordkeeping and administrative services of the 401(k) plan.

Monthly Base Fee | $39 – $149 per month | This amount depends on the plan tier selected by the plan sponsor. |
Monthly Active Participant Fee | $4 – $8 per active participant, per month | The plan sponsor can choose to pay this fee or pass it on to the participants. |

These fees are typically deducted directly from the participant's retirement account balance.

Annual Account Fee | 0.15% – 0.35% of account assets | This is charged by and paid to Guideline Investments, LLC, and deducted monthly (1/12th of the annual rate). |
Monthly Terminated Participant Fee | $4 per month | Charged only after a 90-day grace period following termination of employment. |
Mutual Fund Investment Fees (Expense Ratios) | Varies by fund | This fee is paid to the fund managers, not Accrue or Guideline Investments, LLC. Guideline Investments’ strives to use low-cost funds. |
Recordkeeping services for Accrue’s 401(k) are offered by Accrue 401k, Inc. (Accrue). 3(16) plan administration services are also offered by Accrue and only made available to clients who utilize an eligible payroll provider.
